VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTION FOR LATE SIDDHARTHA GAUCHAN

Dear all members,

We are all now fully aware of the very sad news of the late Sidartha Gauchan. He was the son of Mr Binod Gauchan and Mrs Ramba, born on 26 November 1985 in Pokhara, Nepal, educated and completed his SLC in Nepal and attended the musical college in Greenwich College in London. He came to the UK in the year of 2004 and was living with his partner Ms Annabel and has a 15 month old daughter (Siana).

Although we, as society, have made a rule of contribution for the member and non-member of the society, having assessed based on late Sidhartha’s financial position, his family desperately needs financial help and we, Thakali Pariwar, is the only nearest and closest family/friends that can make little help towards his final death ritual ceremony.

The TWS committee members have discussed/agreed that money should be raised through TWS members on volunteer contribution basis only. Therefore area reps have been tasked to raise money from their respective areas. It would be greatly appreciated for your generous volunteer contribution for this difficult situation and I would convince you all that every little help of yours would make a lot of difference to this bereaved family.  

Although the funeral date has provisionally been booked on the 25th Nov 08, the family meeting will confirm the exact date of the funeral on Fri 14 Nov 08 and will be released in due course.

DEATH OF LATE SIDDHARTHA GAUCHAN ON MOTORWAY ACCIDENT

It's just a sad news to hear that Late Siddhartha Gauchan got into a accident on A20 Motorway while returning back from work and was pronounced death at Queen Mary Hospital at Sidcup London. For more about the accident please read the article below

UPDATE: Driver killed in second accident on A20 at Swanley

7:39am Friday 7th November 2008

A MOTORIST was killed when a car crashed into his broken down Ford Escort on the A20 near Crittalls Corner.

And another 25-year-old driver was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after crashing his car through the central reservation on the same stretch of road one hour earlier.

Road closures were in place at Junction 1 of the M20 and Junction 3 of the M25 at the Swanley Interchange after the accidents, but the road was re-opened just after noon.

Emergency services were called after a blue Peugeot 206 convertible skidded on the A20 London bound and crashed through the central reservation, at 2.06am today (November 7).

The driver of the car was taken to Queen Mary’s Hospital with serious head injuries.

Two passengers in the car escaped without injury.

An hour later, just one hundred yard from the first accident, a green Ford Escort which had broken down in the outside lane, was hit by a silver BMW coupe travelling at high speed.

The driver of the Ford Escort was taken to Queen Mary’s Hospital but was pronounced dead.

  • The driver of the BMW, 20, and a 19-year-old passenger have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
